Chongqing SGS-CEC Energy Storage Technologies Research Institute Co., Ltd. is a Sino-foreign joint venture company jointly founded by Chongqing Energy College and SGS Group of Switzerland. It is a new energy technology enterprise that focuses on energy storage and power lithium-ion battery system, recycling and cascade utilization of waste power batteries, research, development and service of big data cloud platform and intelligent management technology of batteries. It is committed to promoting the green ecological development in the whole life cycle of the energy storage industry, providing users with "high security, long service life and smarter" all-round solutions on energy storage, and contributing to the carbon peaking and carbon neutralization of China.

The Research Institute is located in Jiangjin Park of Western (Chongqing) Science City, with a floor area of 95,381 square meters and a building area of 83,174 square meters. It has a domestic first-class R&D team of 1 scholar from Chang Jiang Scholars Program, 3 national distinguished scholars, more than 10 senior experts and doctors. Its main service market covers major OEMs and end customers in East China, South China, Central China and West China, and its products have been widely recognized by customers and all sectors of society.
